Ukraine expects to achieve the necessary results in developing its own ballistic missile capabilities and a new anti-ballistic missile system as early as 2026–2027.

The Security Service of Ukraine, in coordination with the Armed Forces, successfully carried out an attack on the “Slavneft-Yanos” oil refinery in Yaroslavl, Russia, and two FSB coast guard vessels in occupied Crimea.

Under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pretrial investigation has been launched into a war crime that resulted in the death of a person, following the execution of a Ukrainian prisoner of war by Russian invaders.

The Russians have done it again. All of a sudden, I saw panic sweep through a significant portion of social media and real people. And here come the usual cries of “we’re all going to die.” And Russian disinformation claiming “we must negotiate at any cost.” And suddenly, panic-mongering stories about hyperinflation, famine, and who knows what else.

On the night of August 5–6, the Russian city of Yaroslavl came under a drone attack, which caused a fire to break out at the Novo-Yaroslavl “Slavneft-YANOS” oil refinery.

On the night of August 6, Ukraine continued to launch long-range strikes against Russian territory. In Yaroslavl, fires broke out following the activation of Russian air defense systems, and local residents are reporting an attack on an oil refinery.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi held an emergency meeting with representatives of the business community, the retail sector, and logistics companies. The reason: systematic Russian attacks on businesses that supply goods to millions of Ukrainians.

Destroying russian launchers will help reduce attacks on Ukraine, its critical infrastructure, and the civilian population. The military knows they need to do this, and they will do it.

A lot of Russian missiles are landing in Kyiv. And they will continue to land. In the near future, we won't have the means to stop this.

In 2026, deliveries of anti-ballistic missiles and air defense systems from allies fell by two-thirds compared with the same period last year.
